Advertising and Analytics

We may engage others to provide analytics services across the web. These entities may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, and other technologies to collect information about your use of our Services and other websites and applications, including your IP address, web browser, mobile network information, pages viewed, time spent on pages or in mobile apps, links clicked, and conversion information. This information may be used by Company and others to, among other things, analyze and track data, determine the popularity of certain content, and better understand your online activity.

How We May Collect Other Information

We and our third-party service providers may automatically collect information about your interactions with us or our Services (“Other Information”), including:

    • Browser and device information. Certain information is collected by most browsers or automatically through your device, such as your Media Access Control (MAC) address, computer type (Windows or Macintosh), screen resolution, operating system name and version, device manufacturer and model, language, Internet browser type and version and the name and version of the Services (such as the app) you are using. We use this information to ensure that the Services function properly.
    • Services usage data derived from cookies and similar technologies. We may use cookies, web beacons/clear gifs, and other similar technologies. Cookies are pieces of information stored directly on the computer or device that you are using. Cookies allow us to collect information such as browser type, time spent on the Services, pages visited, language preferences, and other traffic data. We and our service providers use the information for security purposes, to recognize your computer when you return to the Services, to facilitate navigation, to display information more effectively, and to personalize your experience while using the Services. We also gather statistical information about use of the Services in order to continually improve their design and functionality, understand how they are used, and assist us with resolving questions regarding them. Cookies further allow us to select which of our advertisements or offers are most likely to appeal to you and display them while you are on the Services. We may also use cookies in online advertising to track responses to our advertisements. Web beacons (also known as “pixel tags” or “clear GIFs”) are electronic images that we use on our Services and in our emails to help deliver cookies, count visits, and understand usage and campaign effectiveness. We do not track your use of third-party websites or services.

If you do not want information collected through the use of cookies, there is a simple procedure in most browsers that allows you to automatically decline cookies or be given the choice of declining or accepting the transfer to your computer of a cookie (or cookies) from a particular site. Some newer web browsers incorporate “Do Not Track” features. Currently, no industry standard exists for handling “Do Not Track” requests, therefore at this time, our websites may not respond to “Do Not Track” requests or headers from these browsers.

  • IP Address: Your IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to the computer that you are using by your Internet service provider. An IP address may be identified and logged automatically in our server log files whenever a user accesses the Services, along with the time of the visit and the page(s) that were visited. Collecting IP addresses is standard practice and is done automatically by many websites, applications, and other services. We use IP addresses for purposes such as identifying your general location, calculating usage levels, helping diagnose server problems, and administering the Services.

How We May Use and Disclose Other Information

We may use and disclose Other Information for any legal purpose, including to analyze and improve your experience with us, except where we are required to do otherwise under applicable law. If we are required to treat Other Information as Personal Information under applicable law, then we may use it for all the purposes for which we use and disclose Personal Information as described in this Privacy Policy.

In some instances, we may combine Other Information with Personal Information. If we do, we will treat the combined information as Personal Information as long as it is combined.

We also use Other Information to protect our site from fraud and abuse. We have implemented reCAPTCHA Enterprise on our site and our use of reCAPTCHA Enterprise is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. reCAPTCHA Enterprise is only used to fight spam and abuse on our site, and not for other purposes.

Information Collected From Third Parties

We obtain information from other sources. For example, we may collect information from identity verification services, advertising networks, data analytics providers, and mailing list providers. Certain information may be collected when you use social media and other similar technologies, for example, when you use one of our hashtags, like us, or otherwise interact with us through social media platforms. We will use this information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

By donating through our Services, you acknowledge that you understand and agree with this donation purpose. In the event we are unable to use your donation for this purpose, we will communicate about an alternative, related purpose for which the donation would be used.

We seek to use reasonable physical, technical, and administrative measures designed to protect Personal Information within our organization. Unfortunately, no data transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Consequently, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of the Personal Information and you acknowledge and agree that you transmit it to us at your own risk. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that the security of your account has been compromised), please immediately notify us in accordance with the “Contacting Us” section below.
