Join us in supporting the students of Uvalde

On October 28, 2023 we held the groundbreaking ceremony for the new elementary school in Uvalde CISD. As construction begins in February 2024, we will continue accepting donations until the cost of the school is fully met.

Please support the students of Uvalde by joining our campaign for a new school – a new place to learn and make memories. Let’s bring hope and healing today, and for future Uvalde Coyotes.

How can you help?
Donate! You can help us build a brighter future for the students in Uvalde CISD. 100% of all donations we receive by the Uvalde CISD Moving Forward Foundation go directly to supporting the construction of the new elementary school.

What will your donation provide?
The new school will provide a safe, secure, and innovative place for the students of Uvalde to use for decades.

Our Work

The Uvalde CISD Moving Forward Foundation was created in the wake of the tragedy at Robb Elementary School through gifts from the H-E-B Grocery Company and the Butt family totaling $10 million. Huckabee Inc. donated their architectural services, Joeris Construction donated their pre-construction services, and Satterfield & Pontikes Construction Company discounted their services for the construction work.

The Uvalde CISD Moving Forward Foundation is the official 501c3 working with the Uvalde CISD to construct a new elementary school in Uvalde, Texas to replace Robb Elementary following the tragic shooting in May 2022. With your support, we will help the students, families, educators and the entire community of Uvalde to continue moving forward together.

Beginning in the fall of 2022, we began working with the Uvalde CISD Community Advisory Committee to develop the plans for the new elementary school. Those plans were approved by the Uvalde CISD Board of Trustees in April 2023. We held a groundbreaking ceremony in October 2023 and construction will begin in February 2024.
